Competitions

Perry's Bridge Reptile Park and Snakes-uncovered.com is running two separate competitions that will coincide each year with the anniversary of the reptile park.
These will run for a period of twelve months from July 2009 to July 2010.
At the end of every month we will select a finalist and two runners-up in each category which will be showcased on the website as well as "The Tongue Flicker", our free monthly e-zine.
A poll will then be posted on the website where the twelve finalists will be judged by YOU!.

The winner of each category will receive a hamper full of goodies from our online store.

Photographic Competition

Quality and composition are important, but so too is originality so don't be shy to enter your "point and shoot" photos.

* You retain FULL RIGHTS to your work. We will not publish your photo anywhere apart from on this website and in our e-zine without obtaining your prior permission.
* Judging on a monthly basis is at the discretion of Snake-uncovered.com and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this. Judging at the conclusion of 12 months is by public poll and again, no correspondence will be entered into regarding this.

Writing Competition

We are looking for originality and quality here. The story should reflect a true experience with reptiles or amphibians, written in your own style - essay,story or poetry are all acceptable.

* You retain FULL RIGHTS to your work. We will not publish your writing anywhere apart from on this website and in our e-zine without obtaining your prior permission.
* Judging on a monthly basis is at the discretion of Snake-uncovered.com and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this. Judging at the conclusion of 12 months is by public poll and again, no correspondence will be entered into regarding this.

You are welcome to enter both categories, with a maximum of one submission per category per month - if you have more quality entries, simply hold them over for the following month!
